Blackacre Nature Preserve is a neat little spot in J-Town. I’ve not run here before. I think I completed all the trails. Looks like a great place to come back to in the spring. Mostly flat, but a couple slow grades. Saw some great looking mallard ducks with shiny green heads in a small pond.

I spent some time beneath a 300 year old white oak tree, one of the oldest in Kentucky. One in Chicago is 350, but others, not living today, reached 600 years. ​
